What is air covered yarn? what are the features?

Air covered yarn is produced as a result of combining multiple yarn through compressed air. It mainly consists of two types of yarn: one is outer yarn, i.e. polyester or nylon and another is core yarn, i.e. spandex yarn/lycra/elastane. In practice we can even combine polyester POY and FDY for specific purposes.

Since it combines two types of yarn, covered yarn enjoys the characteristics of outer yarn and core yarn simultanesously. Usually the knitting performance, handfeel, dyeing effect and final elasticity are the main parameters for the product.

What are the main types of air covered yarn?

air covered yarn falls into three categories:
1. polyester(poy, dty or fdy) with spandex(elastane, lycra)
2. nylon(poy, dty or fdy) with spandex(elastane, lycra)

3. polyester(poy, dty or fdy) with nylon(poy, dty or fdy)

Our workshop use raw material from state of the art factories and process through our covering machine carefully.  We maintain our machine daily for best performance and train our workers regularly.  The final products are checked visually and also dyed checked for best dyeing property and lab tested for knitting or woven property.

Our products are Oeko-tex certified as well through Hohenstein Institut, a leading inspection agency and initiator of Oeko-tex certificate.

Our pricing are largely dependent on the local chinese market. Due to the bloom of industrialization and complete intergrated supply chain, we can offer our products at competitive level. Considering the difference between local and overseas markets, we also strive to reduce the fluctuation in raw material.

Our loading quantity for is around 7500kgs/20gp and 18000kgs/40hq. Quantites will be less for pallet packing or for tailored items.

What is the lead time and payment terms?

Normally we can finish the goods(air-covered yarn) of 20gp quantity around 1 week and 40hq quantity around 2 weeks. It may take more time for tailored items.

We accept payment terms of L/C at sight and T/T. For other terms, we may treat it case by case.

What is the loading port?

Normally we ship to NINGBO, CHINA or SHANGHAI, CHINA port.
